"I'm telling you stories. Trust me." - Winterson

Peninsula - North Cape Chin - Richardson St

Cool day, luckily dry, and not too challenging for our last hike of this trip.  Started sunny and then became overcast.  Some great views, one random house, and limited clambering.

We only had this stunning sky for a little while

Big steps but not too much clambering required

Peninsula - Crane Lake & 40 to North Cape Chin, incl Devil's Monument

So many waterfalls!

Lots of road today but also some incredible views!   Some parts of the trail extremely close to the edge -- Laura does much better with those than I do.   Detoured to see Devil's Monument - lots of mini waterfalls there.  One large group of hikers we kept leapfrogging.  Not bad but less "only people in the world" than other trips.   Got extremely lucky with weather - the forecast was not promising but today was great.

Every day, yet cannot get enough of the views

Sometimes a little too close to the edge for my comfort...

Peninsula: Wiarton to Purple Valley

Very cool spiral staircase.

Much easier trail today.  Awesome spiral staircase!   Stopped to play at the outdoor gym in Wiarton.  All bridges were reasonable and nobody got eaten.  No significant hills.  Nice waterfall in the city.  Overall a nice, easy, hike.

Loved how this turned out :)
